We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting submissions for the Small Cell Forum Awards 2016!

This year, the awards categories have been modified to reflect changes in our rapidly maturing industry. Two new categories have been added – ‘HetNet management software & services’ and ‘Small cell technology or business case innovation.’ As always, the awards retain their absolute integrity, with an independent panel of judges and peerless reputation for impartiality.

Categories for public entry

  1. Excellence in commercial deployment (RESIDENTIAL)
  2. Excellence in commercial deployment (ENTERPRISE)
  3. Excellence in commercial deployment (URBAN)
  4. Excellence in commercial deployment (RURAL & REMOTE)
  5. HetNet management software and services [open to all]
  6. Small cell access point design and technology [vendor]
  7. Small cell network element design and technology [open to all]
  8. Small cell backhaul design and technology [open to all]
  9. Small cell technology or business case innovation [open to all]
  10. Social impact – promoting small cells for social/economic/environmental development [open to all]

The judges will also be presenting the following awards at the ceremony:

  • Judges’ choice (awarded by the judging panel)
  • Individual contribution to Small Cell Forum activities (judged by Small Cell Forum group chairs)
  • Chair’s award (awarded by Small Cell Forum Chair)

The absolute deadline for entry is 11:59 (UTC) Thursday 31 March.

Important note: The submissions deadline has been moved forward this year to take into account the revised date for Small Cells World Summit. There will be no deadline extensions.


The judges

The ceremony

The prestigious Small Cell Forum Small Cell Industry 2016 Awards will be announced this year in London on Wednesday 11 May, as part of the Small Cells World Summit at the Intercontinental 02 Hotel.
