See you in London? A busy week for small cells

Next week sees the great and the good arrive in London for Small Cells World 2015. With the conference, the Small Cell Forum Industry Awards, our ad hoc plenary and our FREE workshop, we’re looking forward to an exciting and busy week. The June event will also see us launching our virtualization work in the form of Release 5.1 and publicizing our future work areas.

2015 Awards: The shortlist

The Small Cell Forum’s Small Cells Industry Awards shortlist was announced last week, featuring entries from companies around the world and highlighting the market momentum and the technology’s strong penetration across home, urban, enterprise and rural & remote use cases. The awards will be presented at the Gala Dinner, being held as part of Small Cells World on Wednesday 10 June.

Our London ad hoc meetings will be held on Thursday 11 June at the Crowne Plaza hotel. Our network group will come together to determine the next phase of our virtualization work, deployment & backhaul groups will be looking at capacity management, IOP will be mapping out the Plugfest roadmap and the radio group will be evolving our work on the SON API.
