Local authority connectivity group
The SCF Local Authority Connectivity Group (LACG) has been established to create a bridge between local authorities and the wireless industry to capture requirements and work collaboratively to speed roll-out of better connectivity in cities and towns – particularly using small cells or related wireless technologies.
The group is currently focused on UK local authorities, but in the future will extend to other geographical regions – the hope is that some of the outputs from the UK group will be useful for other regions or can be repurposed for different countries.
Current work areas
- Open Access Agreement templates, consensus and updates
- Best practice case studies and deployment blueprints
- Small Cell guide for Local Authorities
- Local authorities resources page
- SCWS local authority engagement and content planning
If you are a wireless connectivity company that would like to get involved in the SCF LACG please email for details.
